Makes 10 ample portions on toasted buns, with chopped onion and cheese on top
2 lbs ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup diced celery
1 crushed garlic
1 cup catsup
3/4 cup Chili sauce
1 –4 ounce tomato paste
1 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 T brown sugar
1 t salt
1 t mustard
1/2 t paprika
1/2 t chili powder
1/4 t pepper
Brown ground beef, onion, celery and garlic. Drain fat, add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil and reduce to simmer for 2 hours on low simmer.
