1 tsp ground ginger, I use dried, but fresh is best
1 C light brown sugar
1 C Plum preserves, I have used grape with good results
but plum is exceptional!
1 C vinegar I have used white vinegar, but rice vinegar is best
2Tbs soy sauce
6 ounces of pineapple juice
3 Tbs cornstarch
Mix ingredients except for cornstarch. Cook over low heat till simmering
mix cornstarch with 5-6 Tbs water and whisk into sauce and stir till thickened.
Use as dipping sauce for egg rolls. Delicious!!!!
